“Dark web” in a sales deck usually means “someone else watches for YOUR logo in places you should not shop.”
Brand-monitoring literacy: companies like Recorded Future and SpyCloud (named as vendors) sell detection that YOUR domains, YOUR brands, or YOUR employees' credentials showed up in places you do not want to visit. Students do not get a marketplace list. Tor Browser is named as a browser that uses the Tor network — what it is, not how to buy access, not “.onion market” tours. 1. Brand monitoring is a vendor job, not a shopping list
If YOU run a brand, you might later buy monitoring so a vendor tells you about leaked employee passwords or fake domains. Recorded Future and SpyCloud are named so those logos are not mysterious. You still do not download dumps. You still do not open markets. HIBP/Monitor remain YOUR personal path.
Students monitoring a classmate's brand “for fun” is stalking. Students browsing markets “for screenshots” is out. No onion URLs in this academy.
2. Tor Browser, in one honest sentence
Tor Browser is a browser configured to use the Tor network so traffic takes a relayed path. Naming it is literacy. This module will not teach you to buy access, find markets, or “practice” there. Topic 39 is the later anonymity topic. Until then: if you install Tor Browser for other honest reasons, it is still not a dump downloader and not a stalking kit.
Webcam dorks, dump sites, and hydra remain refused even over Tor. Tor is not a morality solvent.
3. What you will tell a manager, not a forum
