Reverse Image and GPS Strip on YOUR Photo

TinEye and Google Lens on YOUR image; strip tags only on a practice copy.

Reverse Image and GPS Strip on YOUR Photo
00:00/03:49

Visual · exif_reverse_strip

https://tineye.com/ and Google Lens named. exiftool -all= on a copy. GATE.

Reverse image search asks “where else is MY picture.” Strip asks “what GPS will I stop publishing.”

TinEye (https://tineye.com/) and Google Lens (named) can show other copies of an image. Use them on a photo YOU took or a practice graphic YOU made — not a classmate's face, not a stranger's ID, not a doxx kit. Stripping EXIF with `exiftool -all= -overwrite_original` is allowed only on a PRACTICE copy. Never strip the only original. Never strip someone else's photos. Original Cyberlium. STOP if router. Next: Lab — Read Then Strip EXIF on a Practice File.

1. Reverse search is self-check, not facial hunting

Upload or paste an image YOU own into TinEye. Google Lens is named as another reverse-image UI — same ethics. You are asking whether YOUR picture already leaked. You are not building a stalker board of a classmate.

FOCA remains a concept, not a PDF vacuum. Dump sites stay refused.

2. Copy, then strip the copy, never the only original

If you brought a JPEG you own, `cp` it to t12-m09-practice-copy.jpg and only then consider `exiftool -all= -overwrite_original` on that copy. If you only have the text practice.bin, you may still run ExifTool on it; it may no-op. The lab lesson will grade the habit, not a GPS trophy.

overwrite_original on a copy is still irreversible for that copy. Keep the real original elsewhere. Do not publish the unstripped file to GitHub “as evidence.”

Command guide

Copy, then strip the copy, never the only original

═══ INSTALL ═══

Linux (Debian/Ubuntu):

Command — copy this

sudo apt install libimage-exiftool-perl

macOS:

Command — copy this

brew install exiftool

Windows:

Command — copy this

choco install exiftool

═══ COMMANDS ═══

Command — copy this

cp "$HOME/cyberlium-lab/t12-m09-practice.bin" "$HOME/cyberlium-lab/t12-m09-practice-copy.bin" || printf 'PRACTICE-COPY
' > "$HOME/cyberlium-lab/t12-m09-practice-copy.bin"

3. Reverse image of IDs and kids is out

Do not Lens a passport, a child's photo from a family group chat you do not control, or a stranger. Self-OSINT means YOUR adult face if you choose, or a landscape you shot, or the practice graphic.

Webcam dorks and Shodan cameras are still refused. This is not Module 8 relabeled.

4. What you ship: TinEye/Lens ethics plus copy-before-strip habit

TinEye official URL. Google Lens named. Practice copy created. Strip command named only for that copy. chmod 600. No stranger faces. SAFE

5. What you record before the next lesson

Date. Reverse image = MY picture. Strip = practice copy. DEMO GATE. File t12-m09-l03-reverse-strip.txt.

6. Wrong vs right: strangers vs identifiers YOU own

Worked failure — same OSINT word, opposite target. Right never needs a classmate or a dump site.

  • Wrong: Google Lens a classmate. exiftool -all= on the only original. FOCA the internet.
  • Right: YOUR image in TinEye optional. Copy then strip later. Next: Lab — Read Then Strip EXIF on a Practice File.
Hands-on Exercise

Mission: copy first, reverse-search only YOUR image

1) / STOP if router. 2) Bookmark TinEye. Copy a practice file. 3) Write: I will not Lens classmates or strip originals I cannot replace. Never harvest PDFs. Never stalk.

Stuck? Ask Cyberlium AI Mentor

If TinEye rejects a tiny practice.bin, use a photo YOU took — not a random face from search results.
