Lab — Setup
Pack cert prep scope, study inventory, and ethics card — lab setup file only, dest $CERT_LAB.
Visual · t42_lab_setup
Lab: write cert prep setup pack. $CERT_LAB only. Original Cyberlium.
Lab setup before cert modules — scope paperwork mentors expect before Security+ and advanced path work.
Lessons 1–3 defined why cert prep matters, lab only, and no exam dumps. This lab ships the combined artifact: topic scope paragraph, study inventory row, and ethics card for $CERT_LAB under $HOME/cyberlium-lab/t42-cert-prep/. No braindumps or proxy services required — scope and study paperwork first. Next: Quiz — Prep Mindset and Lab.
1. Lab contract: write the setup pack
Create $HOME/cyberlium-lab/t42-m01-l04-lab-setup.txt with date, operator, $CERT_LAB placeholder, literacy vs dumps paragraph, study inventory row, and ethics card.
Optional: mkdir proof for t42-cert-prep folder — still no dump imports required in this lab.

Run every command in the box — install first, then the usage lines — only on YOUR lab / program scope.
2. Cross-check against misuse patterns
Grep notes for 'braindump,' 'actual exam,' proxy service URLs — redact or delete. Rewrite forum habits to $CERT_LAB official objective links before copying templates.
Classmates build their own setup packs for their $CERT_LAB — not yours.
3. Lock the proof
chmod 600 on the pack. Quiz is next — then Security+ Named.
Cert mentors archive lab setup before first objective map exercise; you are practicing that habit early.
4. What you ship: cert prep lab setup pack for $CERT_LAB
Setup pack: scope, inventory row, ethics card. $CERT_LAB named. NEVER dumps. chmod 600.
5. What you record before the next lesson
Date. Setup pack path. $CERT_LAB scope note. File t42-m01-l04-lab-setup.txt chmod 600.
6. Wrong vs right: exam dumps vs YOUR honest study plans
Worked failure — same MSF word, opposite target. Right never needs a café Wi-Fi or classmate laptop.
- Wrong: Skip the file and import dump PDF. Add cheat service to approved list.
- Right: Write YOUR lab setup pack for $CERT_LAB. chmod 600. Next: Quiz — Prep Mindset and Lab.
Mission: freeze YOUR cert prep lab setup pack on disk
1) Merge scope, inventory, ethics sections. 2) Name $CERT_LAB. 3) chmod 600. Never list exam dumps as approved practice.
