1. What you will understand
Professionals treat "Preview Before Trust" as a mechanism, not a buzzword. Read carefully, then run the commands on your own machine. If a command fails on your OS, note why — WSL, Kali, macOS, and Windows differ — and use the equivalent from Settings or PowerShell.
2. How defenders use this
You are training toward junior security work: clear notes, least privilege, verified updates, and ethical scope. Copyable commands below stay inside your lab folder or documentation hosts like example.com / 127.0.0.1.
3. Wrong vs right
Keep the blast radius tiny:
Wrong
Run random scripts from the internet as root, scan strangers, or reuse live passwords in lab files.
Right
Use $HOME/cyberlium-lab, prefer 127.0.0.1 / example.com, chmod 600 notes, and stop when scope is unclear.
4. Practical: terminal practice
Run these on YOUR Linux / Kali / macOS terminal (or PowerShell equivalents). Create the lab folder first if needed.
