Never Strangers
Refuse evil twin, deauth, and rogue deploy against anyone outside YOUR lab RoE.
Visual · t15_never_strangers
NEVER strangers = hard stop. Original Cyberlium.
Free Wi-Fi for the public you did not authorize is not a lab — it is a trap you built.
Cyberlium refuses: evil twins at cafés, airports, dorms; captive portals mimicking real brands; deauth to force handshakes on neighbor BSSIDs; rogue APs on employer or school LAN without written pentest scope. Teach users to verify SSID with staff, use VPN on untrusted nets, and prefer cellular. Your only offensive radio scope is $LAB_SSID on hardware you own — detection and literacy elsewhere.
1. Hard refusal list
No evil twin against public, neighbors, classmates, or competitors.
No 'security awareness' traps without legal and organizational authorization.

═══ INSTALL ═══
Linux (Debian/Ubuntu):
Command — copy this
sudo apt install network-manager
macOS: Use airport / System Settings
Windows: Use netsh wlan (built-in)
═══ LINUX / macOS ═══
Command — copy this
grep -i never "$HOME/cyberlium-lab/t15-wifi/roe.txt" 2>/dev/null nmcli device wifi list 2>/dev/null | head -10
Primary tools to practice this lesson: grep, nmcli. Reference sites: Ethics (https://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=faq); Wi-Fi Alliance security (https://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/security). Run every command in the box — install first, then the usage lines — only on YOUR lab / program scope.
2. Legal and policy
Computer misuse and wiretap laws apply to Wi-Fi interception and impersonation.
Written pentest scope required for any org network — default is refuse.
3. User defense message
Verify SSID with venue staff; watch cert warnings; forget auto-join for sensitive SSIDs.
Report suspected twins to venue IT — do not 'pentest' the airport yourself.
4. What you ship: NEVER strangers statement
Refusal list + legal sentence + user defense tips.
5. What you record before the next lesson
Signed refusal in notes.
6. Wrong vs right: stranger SSIDs vs YOUR lab AP
Worked failure — same MSF word, opposite target. Right never needs a café Wi-Fi or classmate laptop.
- Wrong: Deploy twin at library 'so people learn security.'
- Right: Refusal written. Next: rogue lab (detection).
Mission: never strangers pledge
1) Write five NEVER wireless targets. 2) Write legal authorization sentence. 3) Write three user defense tips.
